Pitiful Paws is a volunteer and foster based dog rescue organization. We have no shelter, but we do have wonderful and loving foster homes! We believe that every dog deserves a chance regardless of breed or age and will do whatever we possibly can to rehabilitate a dog physically and emotionally.
Our focus is on dogs that need to be removed from bad situations, dogs that are in bad shape and in need of medical care, and strays that are in need. After the dogs have been rehabilitated, they will be looking for their forever homes. To adopt one of our dogs there will be an application to fill out and a home visit. Each dog will be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots before adoption. Adoption fees will vary dependent on the dog.

We can always use sheets/towels/bedding, dog food, dog treats, dog houses, crates, or money can be directly donated towards out vet bills. - Fostering for Pitiful Paws is completely FREE! We are always in need of fosters. With that being said please remember to check out our adoptable dogs, or if you’re interested in being a foster then download, fill out, and e-mail the applications to info@pitifulpawsrescue.com. If you are interested in helping us but for whatever reason you cannot foster, we have our Amazon wishlist on our donations page as well as button to send a donation via paypal.
- Pitiful Paws rescue will take in as many dogs as we have foster homes and supplies for. We depend on our fosters, on donations of supplies as well as monetary donations to help us cover our rescues vet care. Every dog that is adopted from us is spayed or neutered & fully vaccinated before the adoption is finalized & we do home visits for each of our foster homes as well as forever homes. There is also a 2 week trial period before the adoption is finalized.
- If you can’t open your home to a furry four legged friend, & can’t donate we are also always in need of volunteers for our different events around the area, as well as the weekly care for the dogs that are not ready to go to a normal foster home. - Adoption fees for for puppies under 6 months are $125 and that includes their vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter
and any other vetting needed while in our care.
-Adoption fees for dogs 6 months to a year old are $100 and that includes their vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter, heart worm test,
and any other vetting needed while in our care.
-Adoption fees for dogs that are a year or older are $75 and that includes their vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter, heart worm test,
and any other vetting needed while in our care
